Note:  The speaker and the worship leader are trained and exhorted by the head of the Center for Christian Leadership, Brother Ed Villacorte.   We had to be spiritually prepared and in a state of grace before serving.  Before serving, I attended an LOJ gathering/Feast attended by the Bishop and some other members of the clergy of the Diocese of Parañaque, held at Festival Supermall, so I would really be focused on Him that day.  I should be focused on Him everyday, but I'm still a work in progress.  Brother Ed also gave us outlines as guides.  My "codigo" flew because the electric fan's power was too strong, so everything else that happened that night was through the leading of the Holy Spirt.  All Glory and Praise belong to Him.

Living for a cause
(Go forth to all the nations)

The Greeting
Good evening brothers and sisters. God IS good, Amen? Amen! If you believe that with all your heart, say this with me, “Lord we have come to worship You. We will lavish in your goodness. As we start tonight’s gathering prepare our hearts for Your will. In Jesus’ name.” Amen!

Introduction
Brothers and sisters… are you living for a purpose, a cause? How many of you know what you are living for? Is what you are living for in line with God’s will for your life? Are you sure? Tonight we will receive a cause…a purpose…the will of God. Let us clap our hands for that.
Before He was taken to the heavens, Jesus gave us a definite purpose, a clear mission. In the Gospel of Matthew we read the “Great Commission.” Let us read the passage together...

The Reading
Matthew 28:17-20
“…17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age…” NIV

Reflection

According to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martyr, 1945, "The life of discipleship can only be maintained so long as nothing is allowed to come between Christ and ourselves, neither the law, nor personal piety, nor even the world. The disciple looks always only to his master, never to Christ AND the law, Christ AND religion, Christ AND the world. Only by following Christ alone can he preserve a single eye."

Oswald Chambers bravely quips: God saves men; we are sent out to present Jesus Christ and His Cross, and to disciple the souls He saves. The reason we do not make disciples is that we are not disciples ourselves; we are out for our own ends…he also said, “Discipleship and salvation are two different things: a disciple is one who, realizing the meaning of the Atonement, deliberately gives himself up to Jesus Christ in unspeakable gratitude…Saving souls is God’s work; man’s work is discipling those souls (see Matthew 28:18–20).”

The Exhortation
Brothers and sisters this is the ultimate cause of why we are here in our Community, and a part of the universal Church...the Catholic Church... to take part in the great Commission.

Are we taking part in the Mission of the Lord, to build His Kingdom and lead people to change lives? The Bible speaks of only two kingdoms, namely the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Are you sure you are building God’s Kingdom? If you are not sure then definitely you are building someone else’s kingdom.

If you are not a Missionary then you are a mission field. God is not looking for good members or for perfect attendance or for people who could give generous donations. He is looking for people who will form PART of His Church, to build His Kingdom. Are you part of this cause? And how can we know we are taking part in it? Simple! When people are becoming more loving, committed, serving, teaching others to live for Christ!

The Invitation
Brothers and sisters are you willing to be part of God’s work…of His Kingdom here on earth? As we come to the presence of God and present ourselves to Him. Let us take joy to know that in spite of our unworthiness He has considered us to take part in this great endeavour. We need not worry if we are not intelligent or rich or without high education. All God is waiting for is our hearts offered to him in sincerity… to live His cause. Come on let us stand and be counted…Hallelujah! Let us answer His call… to the ends of the earth… Hallelujah!

The Worship
Lord we worship and adore You
We praise and thank you for who YOU are and not just for the mighty deeds that You have done.  We feel Your presence Oh Lord

A Prayer
Take away our fears and anxieties…please replace them with the peace that You alone can give… Jesus, YOU still call disciples today to come follow YOU
We also look at Matthew, whom YOU called as an apostle, and later moved to write one of the Gospels
We too are called as "fishers" and "writers" in the way we live our lives, leading others to hear YOUR call to come and follow
Lord, we have heard that call to surrender all for the sake of following YOU, our Lord and TRUE Leader.

Song: You Are the Leader (True Vine Music)
Yes Lord, YOU are our true Leader and YOU are an awesome God. We worship and adore YOU. We bow before YOUR throne. Let the fruit of our lips be pleasing to YOU. Lord, let YOUR glory fill this place.
Song: Let Your Glory Fill This Place (Maranatha Music)

Litany of Praises
Samuel 22:3 reminds us that God is my (our) rock, in whom I (we) take refuge, my (our) shield and the horn of my (our) salvation. He is my (our) stronghold, my (our) refuge and my (our) saviour--from violent men you save me (us).
He is the Blessed Rose of Sharon…the Lily of the Valley (Song of Solomon 2:1)
The Alpha and Omega (Revelations 1:8)
The Lord of Hosts (1 Samuel 1:3)
The Chief corner Stone (Ephesians 2:20)
Rock of Ages (Isaiah 26:4)
The real Commander in Chief (1 Chronicles 11:6)
El Chanu, the Merciful One (Exodus 34:5-8)
On His robe and on His thigh He has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS (Revelations 19:6)

Let us clap and shout our praises to Him... (after the clapping and the praising softens…)

Truly the presence of the Lord is in this place…let us call the Holy Spirit to fall afresh on us

Song: Come Holy Spirit/Spirit Move/Pour Out Your Spirit
Singing in the Spirit

Song: Come Holy Spirit
Alleluia… "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable." —Psalm 145:3 Let us shout our praises to HIM

Praise & Worship
The Apostle Paul said that we see through a glass darkly for now, but someday we will meet face-to-face with our Savior
We will have a full understanding when that time comes in eternity. For now, we must trust God with all our heart and lean not unto our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) and know that He is truly MAGNIFICENT
Final Song: Magnificent (Hillsong)

Final Prayer
Together with the angels and the saints let us proclaim
All Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen!
